Riviera di Levante
A slice of sea surrounded by mountains and a group of coloured little villages climbing on green slopes.
Sestri Levante is a little town deeply linked to the sea thanks to the ability of its inhabitants to exploit at their best the resources of the blue great brother.
Fishing-tales, boats and storms, love and hate towards the huge rosource on which the city developed: the sea.
Sestri Levante has kept all its historical features recovered and restored to the original shape after the 1944 bombing.
Another village is Riva Trigoso, in the past times a fishermen's little village, and today seat of an important shipyard. Visiting these places a costant element comes out, the bue colour of sea blending with the green of nature. This is Liguria, its particular charm, untouched nature, unique sea.
Going inland up the hills you can reach Casarza Ligure. Here a different climate, a different landscape. Then Maissana and up to Passo delle Cento Croci. Going back to the coast, we can visit Moneglia then Deiva Marina decorated with the "blue flag" because of the beauty of its soundings.
Noteworthy are Framura, Bonassola and Levanto.
